The foot operated UniJack™ is a premium solution for controlled movement of heavy scenery. Able to move loads up to 200 kg and braking up to 275 kg per castor the UniJack™ range can be used to smoothly manoeuvre scenery trucks, work benches
There are 3 standard units in the UniJack™ range - the UJA4101, UJA4201 & UJA4301.
The UJA4101 is fitted with a 2" (50 mm) twin wheel castor and is suitable for most applications. Ground clearance is 24 mm as standard and this can be reduced for lightweight items. WLL 160 kg.
The UJA4201 is fitted with an 3” (80 mm) single wheel castor. Using the same mechanism as the UJA4101 but in a larger body, the UJA4201 has a standard ground clearance of 24 mm and a WLL of 150 kg.
The UJA4301 is a UJA4101 with a rubber brake foot added and a sturdier castor, designed to hold a stage truck in position. The rubber brake foot (UJA4301-P01) can be purchased separately and retro-fitted to a UJA4101 if required. WLL 275 kg.
All UniJacks™ can be fitted with a keyplate (UJA4601) and lift off studs (UJA4501) fitted to scenery allowing multiple items to be moved with the same set of UniJacks™.

KEY PLATE FOR LIFT OFF UNITS
The UJA4601 keyplate is always used in conjunction with our UJA4501 stud set and allows for the Unijack to be easily and quickly removable. Six 10mm diameter holes in the plate provide sufficient fixing points and two vertical corrugations ensure there is enough clearance for the stud set.
LARGE LIFT UNIT WITH 75 mm (3") CASTOR
The UJA4201 Heavy Duty Unijack is fitted with a 80mm (3") single wheel swivel castor. The UJA4201 Unijack may also be adapted for quick removal by fitting a UJA4501 Stud Set and corresponding UJA4601 Key Plate. The design recommendation is that the UJA4201 should be installed with a 10mm clearance between the floor and the castor so that the foot pedal is at its most efficient part of its travel as it starts to lift. This will provide 24mm of ground clearance to the item being moved. The bottom edge of the back plate should also be installed 100mm above the floor when the stage truck is in its resting position.The SWL of the UJA4201 is 150 Kg.

REPLACEMENT RUBBER BRAKE FOOT
The UJAUJA4301-P01 Brake Foot can be fitted to Unijack body. Two M8 Allen cap set bolts ensure that the mounting plate and rubber foot can be fitted to the horizontal arm of the Unijack lifting unit.
SET OF LIFT STUDS AND SAFETY CATCH
The UJA4501 stud sets are designed to be retro-fitted to the back plates of any Unijack. This accessory, in conjunction with the UJA4601 keyplate, make the Unijack easily and quickly removable. The steel studs are stepped from 19mm x 6mm to 12mm x 4mm to a further 10mm x 5mm allowing them to be conveniently located into the UJA4601 keyplate. The face of the stud is also drilled and countersunk to accept an M8 countersunk cap bolt. A simple safety catch is also supplied and fastened to the top corner of the Unijack backplate. Once in a down position the catch will lock the Unijack to the UJA4601 keyplate.
STANDARD UNIT WITH 50 mm (2") CASTOR
This standard UJA4101 is fitted with a 2" (50mm) twin wheel castor and is suitable for most applications. It is recommended that the UJA4101 be installed with a 10mm clearance between the floor and castor to ensure that the foot pedal is at its most efficient travel and lift position. This also creates a ground clearance of 24mm for the moving item. If lightweight pieces are to be moved, then clearance may be reduced to give more lift. This unit may also be fitted with the UJA4501 stud set and locking catch to create a lift off UJA4101/4501. SWL 160 Kg.

STANDARD UNIT WITH BRAKE FOOT
The specification for the UJA4301 Brake Unit is designed to hold a stage truck in position by lifting a fixed castor from the floor. The unit should be fitted so that it only lifts the fixed castor with a minimum clearance. The design recommendation is that the rubber brake foot should be installed with 3 mm more clearance than that of the truck to the floor. The UJA4301 Unijack can also be adapted for quick removal by retro-fitting a UJA4501 Stud Set and UJA4601 Keyplate. The SWL of the UJA4301 is 275 Kg.
