As part of a venue improvements program for a post-COVID-19 re-opening, Triple E was contracted to provide upgraded bespoke curtain tracks for the Stag’s 450 seat theatre.
Originally opened as the Majestic cinema in 1936, The Stag Sevenoaks has been through several changes in its lifespan, meeting each challenge and evolving to continue to serve the local community as a venue for live performance, film, events, and more.
After a site survey performed by EEE Build Director Rowan Coupe, the tracks were prepared at our Biggin Hill facility and taken to site by the EEE Build installation team who fitted several Triple E 2Way tracks whilst complying with the latest COVID-19 safe work practices over two days on site.
To refresh the stage area, a long U-shaped curtain track was fitted to the rear and sides of the stage area to create a surround of acoustic drapes or a cyclorama.
The team also fitted a Proscenium track with a custom double S bend, offset to match the unique thrust stage shape and the position of the in-house projector, maximising the available floor space.
The final part of EEE Build's package was two over-door blackout drape tracks for the Front of House area, a perfect application for 2Way’s compact durability given the public-facing nature of the task.
