Triple E Takes Track Training to Canada

Triple E headed to Canada for product training and CITT Rendez-vous 2026, working with JOEL Theatrical Rigging to showcase our UK-manufactured track and stage engineering systems.

Triple E in Canada

August saw our Managing Director Lucy and Head of Operations Jo head to Canada for product training and CITT/ICTS Rendez-vous 2026. The trip gave us the chance to support our Canadian resellers, JOEL Theatrical Rigging and Stagefab, while introducing more of our UK-manufactured track and stage engineering systems to the Canadian market.

Taking Triple E Training to Canada

Much of our time in the Greater Toronto Area was spent on product training.

We took a mix of products to Sheridan College, including Erail, ChainBeam, our new HandTrac Drive and Demountable Scenery Carriers. Seeing them in action meant people could get a much better feel for the systems and ask us questions directly.

JOEL Theatrical Rigging supported us with the demonstration track set-up, which made it easier to talk through the products properly with attendees and discuss where they could be used on future projects.

CITT Rendez-vous 2026

The next stop was CITT/ICTS Rendez-vous 2026.

CITT/ICTS Rendez-vous is an annual Canadian conference and trade show bringing together people working across live performance and event production.

Instead of a standard stand on the exhibition floor, Triple E had a dedicated demonstration room. For the track systems, that worked particularly well because visitors could actually hear how quietly they run without the background noise of a busy show.

It also gave us more time to speak to people about the systems and answer technical questions. Marie-Laure Lecerc from CITT/ICTS said “It was a pleasure having Triple E and Lucy at Rendez-vous.”

We had product literature and some Canada-specific Triple E merchandise in the room too, including T-shirts and a set of bespoke product stickers. We also created a special edition Canadian maple leaf design especially for the trip.

The stickers were very popular and we have since spotted some out in the wild on a flight case backstage, which is exactly where we hoped they might end up!

What’s Next?

One of the best parts of the trip was having more time with our Canadian partners and talking about where we can go next.

Those conversations are already leading into discussions around further training and another Canadian trade show.

We also came back with plenty of photos and video from the trip, so there will be more Canada content appearing across our socials.

A big thank you to JOEL Theatrical Rigging, Stagefab, CITT/ICTS and everyone who came along to see us.
